was at the BAFTA Awards (Im here rn actually). John Davidson had been involuntary ticking before the show started, and throughout. All guests were made aware before the show started and throughout why. I actually think the film “I swear” depicts and educates on this perfectly.
The way how some Black people are behaving in regard to the Tourette situation is disappointing. Both Jordan and Lindo deserves apologies but to automatically characterise it as malicious and refuse to change your stance when presented with new information is poor.

Ultimately Mr. Nobody caters to the Western viewer. Shows “resistance” & the comforting story of an anti-war Russian. Never mind that his resistance is beyond flimsy. 2000 Meters is raw, difficult & shows the human cost of Western inaction. No surprise which they prefer
