Storey with a big performance too. Hell of a battle he had with Moore and did well. Would like to see him move into the middle and Offiah at RCB. Poor game for Lindsay. Just wasn't to be today. Came up against Okonkwo who had a huge game. Single handedly won them the point.

Deserved to get 3 points today. Armstrong class when coming on. Devine and Dobbin great in the first half, but thought Dobbin struggled later on. Smith had a good first half too. Won most things put up to him and played it off well. The hate towards him from fans is OTT #pnefc

This could be the perfect situation for Boro. They're quite fortunate to be as high-up as they are as their performances haven't been great. So if they can get someone in to make them play better, they may actually maintain, as the drop-off was going to be inevitable IMO.

The bottom sentence is very fitting for this. People will say they're professional footballers, it's their job. Do people think they'd perform to their best at their job if they were getting battered with hate? https://t.co/Wtf0t5RSnU

🚨 BREAKING: Club sources have acknowledged players discussed their relationships with supporters in a post-Chelsea meeting. 😳 Insiders believe it would be more damaging if such an obvious issue was being ignored It is also understood that this is not the first set of Spurs

Away crowds are normally louder anyway because it's a day out on the piss altogether. Which is why you hear the boring "football in a library" chanted at pretty much every game up and down the country. But being a toxic fanbase at home, will have a negative impact on players.

Don't get why the broadcast is focusing so much on the Crystal Palace wall for that free kick when it was taken short by Bruno to change the angle of the shot anyway.

Adam Wharton is one of the best midfielder dictators in the game. Always looking to get the ball and the team forward, and does so with so few touches, and perfect tempo. Was clear early on that a PL team should pick him up and Palace pounced. He'll go for a big wedge soon.

Been a fan of Rosenior ever since he was writing articles for The Guardian. Was the brains at Derby with Rooney. Did ok at Hull, but is a manager who was easy to tell he'd get better with experience. He was top of my list last summer if we got rid of Lowe when we should have.

Liam Rosenior is such a fantastic talker. Every single thing I see of him leaves me impressed and on Thursday, Strasbourg’s transitions, off the ball running and finishing did too. He’s such a bright bloke.

Amorim on Patrick Dorgu: ā€œI don't know what is going to happen in January. What i feel, when I see them training, they are doing so much better than in games. Patrick, when I see him playing for the national team, he scored a great goal against Scotland. The decision he made

Spurs fans will get absolutely rattled by this. But I couldn't agree more with him. I wouldn't want any of those fans turning up again if I was a Spurs fan.

He's got plenty of ability to impact games without trying to make things more complicated than it needs to be. May not get the odd 10/10 game from him, but it should put a stop to the stinkers that he drops. If he can raise the level of his floor, he could smash it.

Need more like today from Mads. He could become a good, consistent player at this level if he doesn't try to overcomplicate things. It doesn't come off enough for him to continue playing the same way, so he does need to change his approach.

If Mads continues to be cold, if we can manage to sell him in January as his contract would be up in 18 months, Leo Walta (22) at Sirius would be someone worth looking at. Goalscoring midfielder but a great passer too. Much more reliable with the ball than Mads.

The sooner we get Gibson and Armstrong back the better. Huge misses. McCann too, for his engine and ability to win the ball in midfield. Take the three points and run as that was poor #pnefc

It would be a big step up from the Swedish league, but it's still worth looking at players from there who are young, and not of the Okkels age, because there's plenty of development potential.

His player profiling resonates as he identifies well and focuses on the positive traits players have and how those qualities can be maximised for the team. Then make sure you get the right mesh of traits and personalities to get a well balanced squad with different qualities.

You can tell in his interviews that football is the only part of it he enjoys speaking about. There’s none of the usual media clichĆ©s or empty buzzwords you get from many managers where plenty is said, but there's very little insight.

It's not just because we’re doing well now. I felt the same last season, even when results were rough. I know I’m in the minority, since most people quite rightly judge managers by success. It's just on the way he talks and sees the game being similar to what I do and appreciate

I always enjoy listening to Heckingbottom talk football. He’s my favourite manager we’ve had since Moyes. He's the one I resonate with most. The way he talks about football, the clarity of his ideas, the way he profiles players, it just resonates with how I see the game.

Lads not played for 7 months, so if he has a poor game, I'm sure fans will take that into consideration... Hopefully he can get up to speed fairly quickly. Much needed with McCann and Armstrong out.
