We’ve also learned that the officers who were shot — were treated and released from the hospital. Both were hit by gunfire above the neck - according to police. Their identity has not been released to respect their privacy. @SpecNews1CLT

Police are now releasing the identity of the man killed in the officer involved shooting in Mint Hill yesterday. Tjamel Ali Hamlin II - was killed during an altercation with police during a custody exchange. Police say a firearm was recovered at the scene. @SpecNews1CLT

Tyler Moore has been arrested for charges of sexual exploitation of a minor. Moore is a school resource officer at North Rowan Elementary. Police say he was arrested & charged w/ four counts of third degree sexual exploitation. He’s being held under a 100k bond.

The light rail stabbing suspect is currently in the Meck Co. detention center after a warrant was out for his arrest. He’s facing several charges including assault on a pregnant woman. This as more money is being raised on his GoFundMe - while some call him a “hero” online.

Body camera footage has been released in the arrest of Nathaniel Williams. Arrested Nov. 3 after officers claim they saw marijuana in his lap. After refusing to get out of his car his window was broken & the arrest became physical. We are carefully reviewing this footage.
