This one hit me right in the heart. Ultra proud of Aleksa and our co31 musicians who have really done us proud at the @misst_music residential at Gresham's. They've taken everything in their stride and enjoyed every minute. Thankyou @misst_music, what an opportunity!.
Well done to Aleksa for winning the Spirit of @misst_music award! This caps an incredible week at @Greshams_School where Woodfields scholars have been learning to play as part of an orchestra. Thanks to @JoolsAtkins and Julie Renshaw for their support.

Our C31 scholars are on their way to @greshamsbritten @Greshams_School as part of @misst_music to play in an orchestra for the week. They will meet other musicians from around the country and play in front of MILO, the MiSST orchestra. Quick pit stop along the way.

High expectations, everyone rowing together, being part of a team, rehearsing core routines so they are at the highest standards. Everyone has choice about where to work, we are all adults, I choose a bus like this one. because I have seen the change it brings.
We’re having a fantastic Inset Day @TheWellsAcademy!. @NAveyard has reminded us of our core routines linked to upholding a culture of high expectations, including meet and greet, end and send, corridor culture and line ups. Sweating the small stuff! Leaving nothing to chance!

What a stunning @astreaacademies musical treat at Woodfields! We were joined by Waverley, @IntakePrimaryAc, Atlas, @BWA_Sheffield, @HexthorpePri, Kingfisher and staff who performed so well. Wonderful to see the whole Astrea family!

Had a scholar sadly leave my tutor group today for a school nearer to his home. The tutor group gave him some advice for the future - 'If' by Rudyard Kipling. He listened and smiled all the way through and said 'i'm going to miss this school' @AAWoodfields.

@AAWoodfields is changing thanks to @astreaacademies investment in Doncaster. A once derelict building is being renovated and reopened so children get bigger, brighter and better classrooms. And a pretty banging neon sign from Neon Filter.

Special. imagine the conversation at home tonight! What did you do today? I played my flute for the CEO of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. We dropped the mic this aft, CO31. dropped the mic! Well done, I'm really proud - first time in front of the whole year group too!.

This was a lovely moment on Tuesday, listening to each other to play as a proper ensemble. And all our y7 flautists on Tuesday performed beautifully in front of each other formally for the first time without any fuss. That's confidence development. @misst_music.
It’s just think it’s incredible that these young people have picked up an instrument from scratch, then committed to daily practice and have developed the confidence to perform in front of others like this. Huge congratulations to the children and their parents.
