At this rate, I predict we will reach a "high" level of infection in 2 weeks.

I don't believe there was enough emphasis on shirtless N95ing firemen.
"I keep hearing about variants. Should I be concerned?" Hell NO! NOT IF YOU ARE #N95HOT! If you liked this video, can you send a quick email to ? hicpac@cdc.gov "Variants don't scare me, the maskless CDC does. Universal N95s now." That's it!

The doctor on the morning news just said donβt go in and tell the doctor what to do. Ummm sir, youβve obviously never been a woman who is told everything is anxiety (congenital heart issue). Or had a partner with an auto immune illness almost no doctor has ever seen. Iβm sorry

If this is news to you, you watch the news too much.
@MCM54321 But media creates demand and serves to placate the masses. Government and media is created by the 1% in order to serve their agenda.

I know these numbers seem a bit small but keep in mind, testing is still way low and the population of the entire province is approximately 15,500,000 which is about half that of Texas with almost double the land mass.

Something new I'll add is C-19 hospitalizations. During the same reporting week, hospitalizations are β¬οΈ to 70 from 102 the previous. C-19 hospital bed occupancy is β¬οΈ to 524 compared to 437 the week prior. C-19 ICU admissions have slowly increased to 22 over the past.

Week 34 stats on covid rates in #Ontario. We left the mild zone and entered the moderate section of covid percent positivity. I think the speculation on "summer flu" can be thrown out the window finally.

Seriously, can we not nail down what this outbreak is @LynnGuerriero and @niagarahealth? It's either Covid-19 or a lesser severe respiratory infection. Or perhaps it's something worse? Figure it out!

"There is now a more informed approach that does not alarm the public and staff..." That involves setting "enhanced measures", the same protocols put in place during an outbreak, without using the word "outbreak" and reporting it publicly. https://t.co/0wmaHk1ub2

SARS-CoV-2 is death by a million paper cuts.
There was never going to be herd immunity. There is no herd immunity. Only endless variants whose only goal is to reproduce within you and spread to someone else. And the place they reproduce within you is in cells throughout your body, killing those cells.

Got off a very hectic night shift. We worked short-staffed as usual. The hospital mainly relies on private nursing agencies to run all their units. The majority of hospitals and nursing homes in Ontario depend on these private agencies for nursing staff, with astronomical costs

This entire piece stinks of lockdown fatigue immunity debt psychobabble without once mentioning there's a much larger problem being ignored that's causing cognitive dysfunction amongst many other physiological issues. Where does the @nytimes dig these people up from? π€·ββοΈ
