Except that nearly all of the large data centers are created in a TID, which means that tax money is collected and given back to the data center for up to 20 years like Port Washington, Pleasant Prairie. How confident are we those property taxes will come to fruition then?

Wisconsin schools could have a new incentive to consolidate, a 1-time $2K per student incentive, in a set of 5 school consolidation bills (including a statewide feasibility study and $25K local grants for the same) that have been filed.
