Though MWC is full of jokes about POC’s, LGBT and other marginalized folks they’re balanced with jokes about the white and the wealthy and all the jokes feel like they have more respect for the people they make fun of than almost any other show of the time.

I emerged to say something about TV. I’ve been watching a lot of ‘90s sitcoms. They’re all not that funny and all have a generally mean or problematic ethos. BUT from what I can tell this is least true about the show one might least expect. Married With Children.

Haven’t posted on anything in a long time. Over the past 6 months or so I almost died (better now save for persistent anemia.). Dad almost died (he’s currently on an LVAD waiting for transplant) and my dog died (this just happened is still killing me) but I am getting better.

This has been the most challenging couple months of my life. My dad had a massive heart attack about twelve days ago. He’s still in critical care. Weeks after being discharged from the hospital I’m outside another hospital trying to compose myself. I need some strength.
