The average monthly cost of groceries for a family of four in Canada is $1,403. In just 9 days, this one @liberal_party MP, spent the equivalent of 124 months, or 10 years worth of groceries, while 'working' from home. The tax payers of this country deserve to know what it was
MP @KayabagaArielle billed $174K in "personnel" costs for 9 days' work as Gov't House Leader though House was out of session & she spent the entire time in her riding. @PrivyCouncilCa would not comment. https://t.co/IjA9qhuThn

Sweet, I guess concealed carry is ok now. Guess I can start packing knowing that if I get caught I can just sight this decision.
Ontario Crown prosecutors just dropped all gun charges laid against Inderjit Singh Gosal (Brampton), the leader of Sikhs for Justice in Canada. Gosal, charged by the @OPP, was found carrying a loaded, illegal handgun, he claimed was for self-protection. https://t.co/O7VNMmRrLF

Ripped up to the farm this morning and got my raptor poles assembled and dug in. Can’t wait to see if some hawks make their homes in them this spring!

I wish him luck, but I’m giving advanced notice right now that if they run a poor campaign I will be merciless in my use of toilet related criticism and euphemisms.
EXCLUSIVE: Steve Outhouse will be the campaign manager for the Conservative Party of Canada in the next election. https://t.co/ldI2WBuwq8

It’s so nice out tonight that I decided to have a pipe. A friend of mine got me started back on my first tour to Afghanistan. By my last tour I was making my own corncob pipes out of corn we’d find left in fields while on patrol, empty 7.62 casings, and wood for the stem. We

Built my raptor nesting stands today. They’re going to get bolted to a 4”x4”x16’ post sunk 4-5ft deep. Going to put one in the SW corner and the other in the centre of my 1/4 section. If they get used then I should be able to watch the families with my telescope.

Low key smashing my head on the wall as a few years back senior leaders were completely disinterested in a very reasonable proposal to use the Army Reserve framework to train & pay citizens to respond to natural disasters in their own communities, to save the Army from doing it.
Would you join a volunteer force to defend Canada from hostile states? Canada’s top military strategists want to create a civil force of 300,000 citizens.

Liberal Govt: “we want to build a citizen army that’s 400,000 strong.” Then does stupid sh*t like this which is counterproductive to ever achieving that goal.
The Penticton Shooting Sports Association has served law-abiding firearms owners and law enforcement in the South Okanagan for 42 years. The Liberal government has decided to terminate the range’s lease at the end of this year. This is a reckless decision that is not supported

Remember when the Liberals were quick to point out how the Harper Conservatives hid nasty things inside their too-long budgets? Remember when they pointed out how veterans were mistreated? #cdnpoli

I’m all for taking reasonable steps to resume trade talks with the US, but I don’t feel like it’s in our national interest to be blackmailed into a defence purchase where our not so friendly neighbours can effectively ground our fleet at the flip of a switch. Time to put on our

In a remarkable coincidence, Public Safety Canada has delayed the relaunch of the business side of the program until next year due to "unexpected internal changes and complications". Information from @csaaaofficial release.
The federal ministers both suggested that any technical issues were resolved (though of course problems tend to more readily emerge at scale in this type of program) and that they will attempt to roll it out nationwide in a matter of weeks despite low initial uptake.

This is massive news. Canadian potash will now travel by rail south, then out a western US port to customers. No more rail strikes hurting companies and no more stupid regulations hurting business. So maybe Saskatchewan and Alberta really don't need Canada. If you build it, they
BREAKING: Canadian fertilizer and agricultural retail giant Nutrien has selected a U.S. location as the preferred site for its next export terminal — ruling out all Canadian West Coast ports.

No news releases, no background material issued, no press conferences, no information besides the Combat Camera photos.
🇨🇦🤝🇯🇲 Combat Camera comes through where GAC/CJOC fail at updating us about the Operational Support Hub. We now have 43 photos in the Op RENAISSANCE Flickr album including a group photo and a spruced up sign outside the OSH-LAC in Jamaica.

The notwithstanding clause was designed to balance the rights of provincial govts against centrally imposed constitutional mandates. But times change. It now is being used to protect the reality-based world from the faddish delusions of society’s upper crust. I fully support that

smith has done her share of wacky stuff. But on this file, she’s correct. Canadian jurists still inhabit a 2010s-era genderwang cult world where biology is a myth and children are “born in the wrong body.” Sound policy shouldn’t be held hostage to their hashtag mythologies
In late 2024, Alberta’s government passed legislation to preserve the choices of children and youth, improve access to health services and protect children, families, and parental involvement in the education system. Since passing this legislation, three lawsuits have been filed

It's not working @gary_srp. It never will work. It's time to scrap it and shift focus towards organized crime and the border instead of continuing the attacks on licenced firearm owners and confiscating their property. If you can't do that, then @MarkJCarney should find a new
