The worst part about Trump's bill is that it's now the baseline for all future Democrat proposals. We ratcheted to the right a few more notches. So Dems will propose, like, restoring half the funds the bill cut. Like how we've been digging out of Reagan's tax cuts for decades.

If Donald Trump tries to deport Zohran I think he will quickly find that he's bitten off more than he can chew. I'm not sure he really wants what would happen if he does that, to happen. He'd be giving people a catalyst and a martyr all in one.

Fundamentally you can't have a functioning party composed of pro and anti capitalist factions. As younger people, who are more socialist aligned, become more politically engaged, the Democratic party becomes less stable. There will be an inevitable crackup.
I have never been more confident that the current Democratic Party is going to go the way of the Whigs by the end of the decade.

One of Adams' biggest weaknesses from a policy standpoint is his incompetent management of universal pre-K and 3K. Talk to parents. People couldn't find seats. People couldn't make life plans. Amid the chaos he announced huge cuts to the programs. Total disaster.

Let me spoil this for you now, after a few months winding its way through the lower courts, the Supreme Court will rule 6-3 that birthright citizenship is not actually found in the Constitution. We will all act shocked and appalled and then do nothing, like when Roe fell.👍.
