Yes, ArriveCAN cost a lot of money. Way too much. (It was a pandemic.) Going way over budget happens all the time in enterprise. It’s often the developers’ fault. It even happens outside global public health emergencies, believe it or not.

The machines are already writing the code. Those machines are called compilers. We, programmers, simply specify the solution in sufficient detail so that the machines can write the code. Specifying the solution in sufficient detail will _always_ be a human endeavor.

Kafka may have been a clever name for a technology, but Goodreads searches for books on it are practically useless.

While I regret answering a `coding interview` question (I swear I missed that), I'm still amazed at the final evolution to this `2D Spiral` question. It boggles my mind how adding the right model removed all complexity. https://t.co/llDF9fjcin

Advice for anybody in #brampton getting their covid vaccine at the CAA Centre; When you get there, ask somebody near the front of the line how long they've been in line. If over 10 minutes, don't follow the line to find the end, go the opposite direction around the building.

Nobody can "keep the team motivated." That's a the-beatings-will-stop-when-morale-improves situation. What you can do is create an environment where self motivation is possible. Relatedness, autonomy, mastery, purpose. You cannot manage someone into being motivated.

Task manager says Chrome is using 452mb of ram and I only have 2 pages open. Ok. I'm done. I'm moving to Edge. Open edge with same 2 pages: 585mb. Really? #ffs
