We don't "have a good day" Days are neutral Life is unpredictable Thousands of variables outside our control We "make it a good day" or not, by how we approach it.

Seeing reality for what it is, rather than what we want it to be, allows us to confront it & begin to change Telling the truth to ourselves is an unlock to personal advancement

This below. 👇 Move, do, act Identity drives behavior and the corresponding results
Guys track hundreds of biomarkers, score their sleep, and wear devices to monitor their health. But that stuff is just the dashboard, not the engine. The best measure of health is functional ability. 👉Fit is as fit does. I see so many guys who obsess over tracking but don’t

The older and more experienced I get, the more I'm convinced the difference between long term success and failure, and increased energy is the willingness to make "necessary endings" and transitions as a normal part of life.

They had to know this could be the outcome. He's had enough He'll have good opportunity next year with some DC job when someone gets fired on another team
#Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz is walking away, per The Insiders. The team tried to bring him back in the fold, but it wasn’t to be. One of the top coordinators is now out, as Cleveland will need to fill that important role for Todd Monken’s staff.

If you are thinking of starting a business, be prepared to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Financing, hiring, firing, delivering, maintaining, growing, fixing problems, dealing with a thousand variables over which you have no control Equal parts awesome and awful depending

Seems to me that if you elevated Schwartz to HC you still could get Monken at OC. But if you make Monken HC, Schwartz is gone.
#Browns DC Jim Schwartz is upset that he got passed over for the head coach job and doesn't plan to stay here under new coach Todd Monken, @MikeGarafolo reports; Sources have told me that Monken has always been open to keeping him:

I'll bet Mike Vrabel didnt write and essay and do homework for the Patriots job.
The Browns are reportedly a “data-driven operation” and are requiring head coaching candidates to complete questionnaires, a multi-part essay, a personality test, and additional homework, per @TomPelissero Mike McDaniel and Jesse Minter both withdrew from consideration.

There are businesses that exist for a moment, a generation, a century, some more, but eventually, all will be forgotten or replaced. Rise and fall, ebb and flow. Everything has its purpose for its time. Nothing is guaranteed.

I don't believe in the business philosophy of some that say, "Happy staff = happy clients." Its backwards. The business exists to provide value to clients they couldn't otherwise provide for themselves. Satisfied clients = repeat business + referrals + growth = opportunity =

There's two types of suffering Self imposed, and Imposed on us by things beyond our control Limit the former, and face the latter. Suffering produces patience, which produces experience, which produces hope, as we grow and look back on lessons learned. Suffer well. Seek

I don't recommend New Year's resolutions. Just resolve to "do" now, in the present. It's all we have No waiting. We can restart every day, one day at a time The next 365 day cycle starts now

Browns: "Let's hire more people with a losing track record. They'll fit right in."
The Browns have met with former GMs Chris Grier and Telesco about adding senior voices to the organization, per @JosinaAnderson.
