To avoid piles of corporate nonsense in every new tab in Edge I embarked on a quest to have new tabs load a user-defined URL. Apparently possible only by adding a 3rd-party browser extension, e.g., https://t.co/Vhft18YJl3 It works but I'm sure the victory is only temporary.
