No, really, I know you're busy. But please read this. If you're into #svengoolie or #bmoviemaniacs, you'll dig it. It's in the tradition of Bucket of Blood, Color Me Blood Red, and Little Shop of Horrors.

What would be the harm at this point? Everyone involved is long dead. The film itself is nearly 100. If nothing else, it would be an interesting experiment.

I'm tellin' ya, the technology is there. There's enough material to resurrect London After Midnight.

My point is, he should've just asked, "Are you entertained?" And the audience could have said, "Yes!"

This is Charlie Hunnam in "Monster: The Ed Gein Story." Did anyone else see this and think, "Wow, didn't expect to see John Cena in something like this."

On the other hand, "Ask Dr. Know" really did come true. Haley Joel Osment spends a big portion of the movie trying to come up with the EXACT prompt that AI will respond correctly to. This is extremely accurate. Way to predict the future!

Okay, this brings up an issue: Steven Spielberg SPECIFICALLY promised us that artificial intelligence meant mechanical teddy bears that would walk and talk on their own. But that has so far not been the case. WHERE ARE THE TEDDY BEARS, STEVE?

If they had replaced the guns with dildos, that would have been hilarious and I'd have been all in favor of it.

Here's why it matters: I wanted to write some Pac-Man fanfiction in which we find out exactly what happens to Pac when he warps from one side to the other. For us, it's instantaneous. Maybe a second long. But maybe he experiences a whole lifetime in that second.

There is apparently no specific term for the side doors that teleport Pac-Man from one side of the maze to the other. You'd think these would be a bigger part of the mythology, since they're essential to the game. They're even mentioned in "Pac-Man Fever."

Sad to learn of the cancellation of The Great North. No finale and just 3 eps shy of 100. It was never going to be essential, but that's what I liked about it. I'd have kept it over Krapopolis and Universal Basic Guys.

Dear SNL: 1. References are not jokes. Just mentioning a thing isn't enough. Have something to say. 2. Maybe go easy on game shows and restaurants for a while. 3. It is not necessary to have your characters explain the premise of each sketch. We're not idiots. #snl

Scenario: You're Lex Luthor and you can only send out ONE of these groups on an all-important mission. Which one do you send?

"Are you not entertained?" "Yes!" "So you are... not entertained?" "No!" "Wait, are you entertained or not? 'Cause you're sending me mixed signals!"

I love when YouTube puts thumbnails like this next to each other.

This has become a dilemma every October: do I watch #svengoolie's double feature to the end or do I watch #SNL as it airs? I mean, the whole point of SNL is that it's live. But all the sketches get uploaded to YouTube immediately.

Last night, I switched from #svengoolie to #SNL at 10:30, and I kind of regretted it. Not that SNL was terrible, but it was so predictable and by-the-numbers that it almost felt like a rerun.
