Kids are at a disadvantage NOT playing college rules.High school teams hold the ball for long slow possessions The game needs the shot clock. Imagine HS hoops w no shot clock then playing one in college.Cost for shot clocks are reasonable and split between boys and girls is easy.
No question the college game is better with the shot clock. But there are understandable limitations/concerns when it comes to a shot clock in HS, so I don’t think it happens. At least for quite some time.

Push the season back one week and have men’s and women’s at Navy Marine Corp stadium. Perfect size venue in a hotbed (pushing season back allows Navy to be available w grad) it really is a very simple easy solution. Less games in February is a win as well 🎯.
