Hey @PPWACTrails @AvalonNordic Trails are groomed after all the snow. Bit soft for skate ski but good for classic (classic track a bit informal). Unfortunately snow is so soft groomer sinks on passes creating some ruts. Still great to get the heart rate up!

Observers on the Twin Otter sighted a group of 30 (!!) killer whales SE of Newfoundland yesterday (small red "fish" symbol)(+ 3 killer whales earlier). This is one of the largest groups reported in Newfoundland & Labrador waters. Mariners let me know if you sight these whales?

Yesterday, South African woman Kirsten Neuschäfer won the Golden Globe around the world sailing race with a boat that has a connection to @RNYC_NL in CBS . It is known as the most gruelling ‘round the world race, that relies on celestial navigation/not tech. @NTVNewsNL
