This open access work meta analyses the literature on deceleration ability. We showed that in the current literature, training interventions which measure deceleration outcomes (even if they were not targeting them specifically) favour the control over the intervention group.

This is one of the components of our ongoing exploration of coaching expertise. The more I work with coaches, the more I’m inspired by their skill and dedication to their craft. This study specifically explores what coaches ‘look for’ when observing cooperative behaviour.

SMF is continuously taking steps towards more reproducible and transparent scientific practices. The journal is offering a grace period where the guidelines are not strictly enforced yet. I recommend that those interested in an SMF submission read @francoimpell thread below.

1600 papers on the ‘effect’ of 3D Motion tracking on decision making in footballers🤨? If you make these claims it’s good practice to link your sources so we can critically examine them. Does anyone have this meta-analysis from PSE so I can read 1600 papers?
