A genuine pinch yourself moment. Working pitchside at Anfield for a Champions League game against none other than AC Milan.
And what a game, what an atmosphere.
A big thanks to
@SonySportsIndia
for the opportunity. And thanks for everyone for the kind messages.
A podium is getting built on the Kop for the Premier League trophy presentation after the Chelsea game.
The ground will go into darkness and a massive lights show will start with pyrotechnics on every roof. It's going to be an iconic moment.

Buvac has taken alot of our attention but the most important thing today is Sean Cox's recovery. Today is a massive day for him and his family.
Thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
So, Mason Holgate got away with blatantly pushing Bobby into the stands on Friday night but
#LFC
fans dug up his homophobic tweets before he could delete his account in time and he's now been charged with that by The FA
Never change Liverpool Twitter you crazy bastards 🤣🤣
So fucking hyper for tonight
We've conquered all of Europe,
We're never going to stop,
From Paris down to Turkey,
We've won the f*cking lot,
Bob Paisley and Bill Shankly,
The Fields of Anfield Road,
We are loyal supporters,
And we come from Liverpool!
Allez, Allez, Allez......
The worst thing about this night is genuinely I don't ever think I'll ever witness a night like this again. I've been lucky enough to cover and attend some of the biggest sporting events around the world but I've never experienced noise like this. Goosebumps watching it back now.
Classy touch by an Spidéal players bringing a bunch of flowers into the Corofin dressing for Gary Sice after today's game. Got to love the spirit of the GAA.
Seems like the Bristol Man City game was a decent watch last night. I went a little more hipster however and watched the French League Cup game between Monaco and Nice. Primarily just to get a closer look at our potential signing Thomas Lemar . Here are a couple of my short views
If Liverpool don't announce Thiago Alcantara with a photo of him holding his number 6 shirt in front of the 6 European cups with this playing they are missing a trick!
Biggest issue for me is how the medical staff let Karius continue if these reported test results are true. Another chapter in the long standing issue of concussion in sport.
“I try to be a leader. I think I am a natural leader and I cannot play a game without talking to everybody. I need to be involved and even if my team-mates get mad at me I don’t care.
“I want to come off the pitch with my voice gone — and that happens every game.” (Paul Joyce)

Here goes. Any corrections do shout 🧵
So in the last few days Coutinho has:
•Been dropped from the Barca team, for the good of the team
•Had his house robbed.
•Got his car towed away for parking illegally.
Oh hello Karma my old friend!
All he's missing is John Terry to come back for CL games and shag his missus
Liverpool will host a special LFC Legends game at the Aviva Stadium on Friday 12th April 2019 in aid of “Support Sean”the Sean Cox appeal.Former Reds will line up against an Ireland XI legends team with proceeds raised from the game donated to the Sean Cox Rehabilitation Trust.
A sidenote of the Pulisic deal is that it almost certainly pushes Callum Hudson-Odoi out the Chelsea door.
A €64m 20 year replacing an approx £25m 18 year year. Both extremely talented and highly rated.
You sometimes have to step back and question the logic.
Anyone else notice how terrible the Sky camera work was tonight, must have been 3 or 4 times off the top of my head alone where we missed the action because the camera was zoomed in on something else
Lallana expected to back for the Huddersfield game then. People will mock his injury record no doubt but his creativity has been badly missed in midfield.
Just finished writing my reaction piece for
@thisisanfield
What a game that must have been to watch as a neutral though. A proper footballing battle. Sometimes we have to stand back and admire how much of an improvement the likes of Pep and Klopp have added to Premier League.
Judging by Jurgen Klopp's longer extended interview with LFC TV there is huge concern for Jordan Henderson's knee injury. Gone for a scan now. It would be a shame if he wasn't on the pitch to lift the trophy after the Chelsea game.
"Stay here and they will end up building a statue in your honour.
"Go somewhere else, to Barcelona, to Bayern Munich, to Real Madrid, and you will be just another player. Here you can be something more."
If only he had listened to Jurgen Klopp.
