Are fire alarms loosing their purpose? Why is it when a fire alarm sounds, everyone stands round questioning ‘is it a test?’ Why are we not exiting the building and questioning why it is sounding once at the assembly point?!

I think it’s so important to show appreciation to those nurses that make this journey a little easier. I’m super grateful for all the nurses that have got me to this point. I met Shahana once! An amazing nurse and anyone who has the pleasure of working with her is super lucky!

Disheartening to hear of student nurses dropping out of training because they can’t afford to get to their placement because of the price of fuel, train or bus fare. @theRCN are you aware of this? Where can we signpost them for help?
