I’m always looking for ways to work smarter, not harder. Here’s a good tip for those of us in writing-intensive careers.

Thanks for the opportunity to share my story. I hope it encourages people to see that we all can play a role to relieve some of the vulnerabilities woven throughout society.

I was delighted to share highlights of my @NSF CAREER Award! Special thanks to my amazing postdoc (@elevate_HER2020) and all who stopped by. My work is fueled by a passion for disrupting the status quo, but your interest in the outcomes motivates me to share widely.

My term as CDEI Chair wraps up today, but my commitment to making engineering a place for all remains strong. I enjoyed celebrating the YIRE at the @ASEE_DC conference and the reunion among friends was priceless! Safe travels to all. Cya in Baltimore in 2023, @ASEEDiversity!

The 90-day Equity Challenge (as part of ASEE’s Year of Impact on Racial Equity) is underway! 10 teams are using engineering design to tackle an equity issue in their student org, a place they have agency. We convened on MLK Day for the kickoff & I can’t wait to see their results!
