I still have his book on my shelf. The First Days of School helped me immensely with setting up procedures in my classroom. I don’t think I could have survived my first years of teaching without it. Rest in Peace, Dr. Wong. Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
I'm heartbroken today to learn of the passing education legend Harry Wong. His book on The First Days of School helped innumerable teachers become more effective in helping ALL students learn well. He was an inspiration to everyone he met and a dear friend to me.
