Amen. Also want to point out that not many music lovers toss vinyl in the trash. Vinyl enthusiasts are similar to book lovers; they often pass them on, donate them, or find alternative ways to dispose of them. It's just not acceptable to throw away vinyl or books.

Being a first-generation Canadian, I agree, Emmanuel. My Portuguese family who immigrated to the US and Canada in the 1950's never sought or desired any form of preferential treatment. They diligently worked their way to success without relying on special privileges.
