4 times a year I head to a part of South West Darling Downs region in my role as Chair of the South West Darling Downs Regional Community Forum. I woke up to this sunrise in St George today! The forums have enormous value- identifying and then working to solve key issues.

The Qld Health & Hospitals Plan is part of our record $23.6B investment in health. It will see an additional $9.7B injected into our state’s health system, funding 3 new hospitals, 11 new hospital expansions and 2509 additional hospital beds across QLD. #QldBudget #QldJobs

The #QldBudget has a record amount of funding for health in Ipswich. $710M will go towards the Stage 2 Expansion of the Ipswich Hospital, adding an extra 200 beds. An additional $85.4M will be invested in the Ripley Satellite Hospital, delivering an extra 90 beds there.
