Contracted West Nile that became meningitis last fall. Hospitalized and became very ill. My adviceā¦wear bug spray and avoid outdoors when mosquitoes are present. Nothing to mess with. I was the 1%. I was 50 years old at the time and very healthy.
Nebraska's first human case of mosquito-borne West Nile virus for the 2023 season has been identified in the Three Rivers Public Health District.
