Stunning story by @luzcita @ELaserDavies — 6 million D.C. traffic tickets are unpaid. The worst drivers avoid consequences for years, & innocent people are dying in crashes from cars & drivers that should’ve been taken off the street.

Some of D.C.’s worst drivers avoid penalties for years. A fatal crash on Rock Creek Parkway in March highlighted the threat that dangerous drivers pose.

Two @SUNY campus visits back to back. Made the trip down to @binghamtonu - research leaders in battery development and semiconductor packaging. And I got to meet a Nobel laureate in Dr Stan Whittingham! Cool college town & most importantly proud alma mater of @craiglindwarm.
Great afternoon at my first @SUNY campus visit with @ualbany. Productive conversations with Pres @HavidanUAlbany, VPR Kesavadas, and other campus leaders about federal priorities, increasing research opportunities, and engaging with federal partners. Beautiful campus. Go Danes!

This video is so cool and it has an ad for what looks like @MountVernon rye whiskey at the 1:37 mark. Did Mount Vernon have ads?? @AnnaLCullen and I got some last week - still made from Washington’s own recipe. #History in a glass.

On this date in 1800, our Nation's Capital moved from Philly to DC. For 3 blissful months, we held that status PLUS we had the right to vote for Congress *and* President. But on February 27, 1801, we lost both votes: President until 1961, Congress until ?!? #DCStatehood

This is fantastic!
In an effort that further increases access among students from underrepresented areas of Alabama, #Auburn & @TuskegeeUniv signed an agreement that adjoins the two institution’s communications programs at the undergraduate & graduate levels. #WarEagle ➡️ https://t.co/Vi4YWHig7T

In hindsight, I don't think some e-mails were the biggest threat to American democracy. This is a sad day in America. My thoughts are with friends and our public servants on Capitol Hill.

The coronavirus forced a shift to virtual classes, but their continuation could be beneficial even after the pandemic ends.

@DougJones @Susan_Hennessey Doug...can you find a way to get more involved in Coronavirus response & more media coverage? Alabama’s in deep trouble with the virus now. It’s a leaderless state that’s needs a hero.

Clogged catch basin near 346 and 348 Angier Ave NE. @ATL311 can you create a service request to clean it out? It isn’t useful during rains. It’s been previously reported but a car had been parked on it for months.

So society’s *real* key workers have just been revealed. Not the bankers. Not the traders. Not the elite hedge fund managers. It’s the nurses. The doctors. The delivery drivers. The carers. The porters. The teachers. The shelf stackers. The check out staff. #COVID19
