We had a guy come in to talk about the dangers of railways. He told us that if you get stuck between the train & platform, your family have to be called so they can say their final goodbyes before they move the train & your internal organs fall out. I’m still terrified of trains.

What’s the most random/strangest/memorable visitor that ever came to your school? We had an eccentric poet who just burst through the classroom and screamed “OOMPA OOMPA STICK IT UP YOUR JOOMPA” over and over while skipping around the classroom

We had a bloke come in about talk about “tell your mum I saved your life” where they pretended to push people. He then went on to mention a story where someone said “tell your dad I didn’t” and pushed them out.
No one knew about that bit and were delighted to find out.

They used to try and scare the crap out of you with those railway safety vids! Do you remember Robbie who had his legs cut off by a train? He also got electrocuted getting his football boots of the cables when they electrified the lines 😧

I went to a Catholic upper school and oxide and neutrino came and same the song where they sampled casualty.....
So good but so weird

We had one of those men visit our school told us how a boy put his head out of a window and smacked into a bridge
