Same thing happened when my father died. Tried hard to put it in a record for almost 3 years and I couldn’t. When I eventually did, I wrote LIFE. Closed that chapter for good.

I respect the process too much to ever call a creative's work trash. I know the ear fatigue, the creative blocks that go on for weeks, to the long night in post-production and the fear of sharing the work. It might need a tweak here and there, but it’s never trash.
