So today we visited @edencamp again. It’s truly amazing. If you have kids (or not) and you want to really get to grips with history, it’s a must. You can see, hear, touch and smell the past. You will not be able to visit every hut in this former POW camp and leave with a dry eye!

Thanks, all sorted now. A quick boiler reboot has done it. Great service again though from Octopus at 9.15pm on Saturday night. Bet the other energy suppliers wouldn’t respond!

I don’t know whether what @elonmusk said was correct but he’s certainly helped expedite the enquiry for the people involved that were calling for a full enquiry into the grooming gangs. Let’s hope the questions are now answered in full.

Just watching the devastation in LA. Anywhere else and they would have set up a ‘Disaster Relief Fund’. Why not now? Not everyone in LA is a millionaire. My heart goes out to them all!

My son had a problem with his gas meter on Sunday evening. Now, Tuesday lunchtime and thanks to @OctopusEnergy he has a new meter. The boss at this company actually cares! Thanks to the team Rachel, Eve & Abdikadir for going above and beyond.

I’d be interested to hear your take on your customer service advisers @g__j . They won’t help me until my supply goes off completely? I’m unable to top up my pre pay meter due to a fault, it was reported on 11/12/24 and the meter will be out of money very soon.

So this is the response from @OctopusEnergy when I called to tell them that I am unable to top up my pre pay meter as it’s showing an error msg and it’s getting really quite cold.

Advice please? @OctopusEnergy can’t help as I have a supply but not for long I cannot top up my prepay meter, it’s not working.They won’t help until I don’t have ANY heating but it’s getting quite cold as I’m trying to save a little on the meter so I can shower for work tomorrow.

As the mum of a 30 year old man, who I love & worry about daily (with the world, especially London, as it is at the mo), I can’t begin to imagine what the parents of @LiamPayne are going through. Could we not just drop all the reporting now & let the family grieve privately?

@ThreeUKSupport having been with three (as a family 3 phones) for years, I will be leaving at the end of the contract! I know 3 contracts won’t make a difference, but going back over so many years they will have added up.

This is crazy
Since January 2020 the debt has ballooned by 50% from $23 trillion to $35 trillion. Interest on the debt is also skyrocketed with higher rates, averaging around 5% lately. Interest on the debt is on pace for $1.5 trillion next year, about 30% of all govt revenue collected.
