Freshly cut holes this afternoon in less than ideal conditions to finish a really productive week preparing the course for the Reay Open tomorrow.

A roll of the greens and a hole change this morning as a bit of heat makes a welcome return to the North Coast of Scotland.

A nice weather window first thing this morning to apply a little cocktail of @indigrowuk liquid products to the greens.

Same day one year apart

A very productive day on the North Coast of Scotland in the sunshine. Getting a herbicide out on a selection of fairways this morning and a @COMPOEXPERTTurf granular down on the tee's this afternoon ahead of the rain due in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Excellent conditions to spray the greens with a new cocktail of @indigrowuk products after the recommendations from @indigrowniall soil analysis tests earlier this year. I'm looking forward to the results after a really positive response last season from the OneShot range.

A busy few weeks recently with lots going on and off the course. A big bulk of that work has been dedicated to training our new apprentice Matthew a wide range of new skills as he starts his greenkeeping career at Reay. #apprentice

Taking advantage of a wet, miserable morning to get a heavy dressing down on the tee's whilst Pete was staying dry and getting the sidewinder units sharpened.

A verti cut on the greens followed with a mow and the first drop in height of cut for the season down to 5.5mm

Best "hidden gem" courses in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 My rule, it has to be £50 or less in peak season (18 holes). Which course did I miss?

Keeping warm on another cold day by topping up the bunkers that required some sand after finishing edging them all last week.

Very thankful for having some protection from the bitterly cold winds hitting the course today whilst mowing fairways.
