Another great story of persistence! Tom came up thru Brighton Beach, E.Brighton, E.Sandy, then Old Brighton in the VAFA, from where he got onto a VFL list with Sandy in '24 before his breakout '25 with Frankston. Now gets his chance at the highest level at 23 years of age👏

Since I was 4, my dream has been to call @7AFL. Realising that dream over the past 11 yrs has been a great thrill. Thanks to all on both sides of the camera who supported me. Best of luck to the team for '26 & thx for making the dreams of a starry-eyed 4-yr-old fan come true.

I gave this TED talk warning Silicon Valley of the profound threat of it posed to democracy nearly 6 years ago. It provoked a lawsuit that caused me years of pain. The UK government did nothing to contain the threat. And here we are.

The first year we had it in VFL, they weren’t considered finals - they were play-in games to make the finals. By the second year, they were considered finals. Essentially, we now have a Final 10, not a Final 8. It’s not actually a ‘Wildcard’ system - it’s another 2 x EFs.
