growing up and learning how to navigate adulthood can actually be really fun, silly, joyful & fulfilling. don't let anyone convince you otherwise. make room for the complexity & lean into the idea that your happiness and excitement about life doesn't have to end with childhood :).

mind you i don’t even use this app anymore, im just really annoyed by fans being toxic and inconsiderate. its understandable to be impatient and frustrated but don’t start being rude to the sole indie developer doing his best to improve a game that didn’t even need more updates.

anyone being mean to @ConcernedApe when he’s doing his best to smooth out all the SDV updates as quickly as he can and providing all this for free are Not Cool. he’s just one guy and he’s doing so much work to give us a good experience, just let him breathe and feel appreciated.

i’m very concerned about some of the barbie takes i’ve been seeing from both men and women because they point towards two very distinct but equally incomplete or incorrect interpretations of the text and a widespread misunderstanding of systemic discrimination across genders.

i think the difference between being alone vs spending time with yourself is making the active and conscious decision to see and treat yourself as a loving and desirable companion, friend and member of your emotional and psychological support system.
