WHAT?? 2012?? Pre anime AoT fan art?? This is a first for me. This is like finding a dinosaur bone! Mikasa with a bright green scarf is quite interesting. We need to find more from this ancient civilization, these Forerunners.

Nah. This type of viscera, especially on humans doesn’t fit Halo’s vibe. Bring back the CE blood, that’s fine, maybe pop a grunt’s head with a sniper. Also this would devalue the terrifying body horror of the Flood big time. Maybe put it in a spin off, otherwise leave it to Gears.
Halo started with the slogan "Combat Evolved" but the series hasn’t fully lived up to that in terms of intensity. Seeing Halo Reach skins in Gears 5 made me realize how much more visceral and satisfying Halo could be with increased violence. It’s time for Halo to evolve again.
