This is me speaking personally as a patient. I know people are cautious about believing in new projects and I share that caution. BC007, efgartigimod, ampligen and others all fell through and I had hope in each of them, so I fully understand the hesitation. But I do want to

@scott_scientist @RenegadeRes Completely agree and understand. I was in the same loop when I first got ill. Expected so many projects to succeed and then nothing came from it 5 years later, can only imagine what it is like for those who have seen decades of this. We will continue pushing forward until our

This is why our @amaticahealth RNA sequencing test will be so powerful. ~ 2500 altered markers in women ~ 1500 altered markers in men Astronomical more insight compared to started tests that show no differences.

RNA-seq - strong separation of patients vs controls and by sex. Females had 1,088 genes up and 1,522 down vs female controls. Males had 662 up and 749 down vs male controls.

Excited for the end of 2025 and upcoming 2026. 2025 proved the concept - we’ve shown biomarker subgroups that match symptom patterns. markers vs tinnitus, markers vs PEM, etc. Now it’s time to scale and start truly solving this disease. Follow along @amaticahealth

I get many DMs asking if I think there’s hope for severe ME & LC patients Short answer: yes Long: I’ve seen many severe patients become mild in hours after finding the right treatment. I believe precision medicine will help identify that for each person and that era is coming

You truly don’t understand how sick a human can be until you’ve seen an ME/CFS patient. Nothing compares.

These two images show the importance of subgroup analysis. Combined you may assume no difference against control. But when you seperate by severity potential findings exist. Overlap with control doesn’t negate meaning. Even a 10-20% reduction/increase of interval proteins can

New exploratory @amaticahealth data: Reduced DRP1 protein in mild patients, shifting to raised in severe and very severe patients with ME/CFS and Long COVID. DRP1 regulates mitochondrial fragmentation - this may reflect changes in mitochondrial health across severity.

Thank you to all our patients who submitted form data Comparing Mild/Moderate vs Severe/Very Severe patients, we found elevated HIF-1α in more severe Long COVID + ME/CFS This could reflect a combination of worse tissue hypoxia, mitochondrial dysfunction or a metabolic shift

Super interesting finding. BH2 & BH4 both reduced during PEM for ME/LC patient. As a disease no major difference were seen against control, but this PEM finding could indicate a wider PEM specific mechanism that isn’t seen during rest.

PEM series preview BH2 + BH4 decreased after PEM in our patient These cofactors are crucial for neurotransmitter synthesis and blood vessel dilation Depletion suggests oxidative stress overwhelms the system, possibly contributing to vascular, cognitive, and immune dysfunction

Coming soon we have a series on our first PEM findings. Below: one patient's ACE levels before and after PEM Despite being for many patients the single symptom that prevents them from returning to life, PEM is not well understood. Our goal is to add much needed resolution

Ok, I looked into this because sometimes claims that "China invents Y" can be somewhat exaggerated. But this is real, and completely insane. This technology called "Bone 02" (inspired by the well-known "502 glue" in China) has been developed for the past 9 years by a team of

RNA drugs are super interesting. Unlike standard drugs that only try to mimic or prevent protein effects, often only accounting for a portion of their effects, RNA therapies can restore proteins or reduce harmful ones. AMT-130 for Huntington’s lowers huntingtin.

Received more results today for batch 2 31 marker and already some very close to significant findings (p = 0.067). Which has grown in strength on the trend from the previous results and may grow further with batch 3. Lots of results in the next month!

1) Interesting presentation by Dr. David Fajgenbaum. He suffered from a rare and life-threatening inflammatory disorder (Castleman disease) and found a FDA-approved drug (Rapamycin) that helped him go into remission. He's now looking to repurpose drugs for other diseases.
