A woman living on the streets asked us for a wheelchair today. The city has a program, but they will only give her one a year. But the city fully funds the police and + sanitation that throw away all of her belongings every week. It's all so stupidly cruel.

I have. I've met people with down syndrome, cancer, MS, alzheimers, paraplegics - all living on the streets. They die. Very soon after they stop being able to access medical care, people with disabilities on the streets just die.
I have never seen a homeless person with Down syndrome

Most leftist anti-maskers think they are annoyed by the masking-left but actually are mad at material reality. I also wish it wasn't airborne, there wasn't asymptomatic spread, and that vaccines offered sufficient prevention of transmission. But wishing that doesn't make it so.
