For those in the industry this is a smart summation of the shared pain. For those outside it hopefully amplifies and illuminates the reason we feel the government has gone dark with deafening silence.
The Theatre Industry is dying, and it’s dying now. Not everyone likes theatre, but if you watch Film/TV this is going to affect you, because much of what & who you watch had their origins in theatre, whether it’s Fleabag or the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games [THREAD]

As a member of the production team that worked on Test Dept’s The Second Coming in 1990, I am currently taking a swim in a lake of irony.
Encouraged by this potential development of the Caley Railway Works in Springburn to be reopened as a centre for heritage railway engineering. I will continue to support the workers who lost their jobs to ensure they have an opportunity to be re-engaged.
