I can't process how fantastic yesterday was. Five years of pain and dipping (8x) in various counties of this bird finally put to rest with incredible views of the Black-Browed Albatross yesterday evening at Bempton Cliffs. I've never been more relieved and happy to see a bird.

Just returned from a very successful visit to India, my first time visiting and wont be the last! A few highlights - Orange Bullfinch, Indian Courser, Ibisbill and the critically endangered Lesser (Leaping) Florican. More pics and report here -

Putative Eastern Yellow Wagtail at Walberswick yesterday evening (found by Brian Small). Bird showed well at range before being flushed by a Sprawk and seemingly went to roost with a large group of Pied Wagtails. Raspy call heard!

Lovely views of the individual Shorelark at Kessingland before it multiplied and became four birds the following day.

Some excellent views of Yellow-browed Warblers were obtained on Stronsay after a couple poor years its been nice to have these iconic autumnal warblers being the most abundant Warbler species observed during our time on Stronsay.

Stronsay was fun, exhausting but fun. Although the 'mega' alluded @DJLbirding and I. We came away with a plethora of 25+ Yellow-browed Warbler, 2x Barred Warbler, a few Siberian Chiffchaff and equal number Blythi type Lesser Whitethroat.

Missing it's right tail feather, looks like the Norfolk bird! Skillfully managed to avoid the whole of Suffolk well played.

After a disappointing day spent slogging the patch an afternoon of filthy twitching provided exquisite views of the Winterton Lesser Grey Shrike. Catching plenty of food and performing extremely well!
