How do we convince @trimet that we want more train lines and to move the MAX underground in downtown

While the Westside MAX was built to funnel commuters into downtown, there’s lots of exciting projects to build housing and destinations along the alignment, hopefully the mostly empty publicly owned park and ride lots adjacent to stations see the same future.

Btw, we're going to have a 7-2 SCOTUS for the next 40 years. Any hope of any progress in civil rights or in progressive policy is completely and utterly dead.

HUGE NEWS… #Portland city leaders today announced the future location of the James Beard Public Market! Similar to Pike Place in Seattle, the market will open in an historic building downtown at SW 6th & Alder with over 40 businesses. Opening date not yet announced #LiveOnK2

Portland: Why don't Gateway and downtown Beaverton look like this? Why is a region famous for land use planning incapable of building anything more than four stories more than 2 miles from downtown, even on very frequent rail lines?

Tapper: Let’s show an example of Harris doing exactly what McConnell and Johnson are taking issue with. Tapper: I'm sorry control room. That was actually Donald Trump calling Kamala Harris a fascist
