I won’t be dictated to on how to hate watch. If you think hate watch has anything to do with how well my team is going you don’t get hate watching. And for that, I feel for you.
I get Carlton fans are hate watching Curnow. They’ll see the Swans wins more games than the Blues, so good luck to them. But you do realise McCartin went forward to even up numbers so Hawthorn didn’t have a spare behind the footy? Blakey was also in F50 too.

You used to have to earn goals from centre bounce. This is a mickey mouse sport.

11 goals in 23 minutes. Some will say it's exciting. Me, not so much. This is T20 football - and defenders are like bowling machines. The contest isn't for the footy, but who can use it the best. #AFLHawksSwans

This kind of football just isn’t for me. Old fashioned? Perhaps. But give me tough, contest with elements of speed standing out. Strong defence and then attack off that. Old man and clouds. #AFLHawksSwans

I like it. It’s your home game, be petty. I’d argue away teams shouldn’t get their song played before the game. After is fine, tradition and individualism wins there.
Brisbane showed replay of Dogs goals in Q1 two weeks ago, then didn’t for the rest of the game. It’s something the club is reviewing. @1116sen

That’s enough for Gerard to be done. Anyone who had ever watched Carlton knows he doesn’t have 40 goals in him.

Watch that Sam Grijl goal play into Sam Lalor goal. Not one bumper bar on Grijl in the entire chain. Insipid. #AFLBluesTigers

Unreal for the kid considering he apparently hit by a train moments before.

Harry Dean will be a star. But there’s a few examples where he just doesn’t kill the contest. All will be ok, just a learning experience at the level. #AFLBluesTigers

Mitch McGovern having shots at goal in the warm-up.
My Carlton changes- (this is what I’d do, not what I think they WILL do) Out: Saad, Reidy, Young, Moir (stiff) In: Cowan, O’Keefe, Derksen, Acres McGovern goes forward if Haynes is fit- maybe even if he’s not? Assuming Evans isn’t fit yet. Carroll unlucky, want him in.

Really hoping for a good night for Lachie Fogarty. Still believe he has a role at Carlton that not many others fill. Just needs to find the scoreboard to ease the pressure a touch.

. Williams fwd? Cowan, Carroll could generate run and drive from HB. Maybe Carroll to wing? . No Vlaustin hurts RICH. Was their best in this last year. TIP: Blues by 21 points

. Pittonet vs Nank good matchup. Nank bullied TDK last year. Pittonet dominated last week in Ruck. . Hewett stand with Taranto at stoppage? . Can Blues use McKay? Was held in this last year with no Charlie. Ball use key to his involvement. CONT

CARL VS RICH Notes . Tigers will play slow and defend with the ball. Will look to win ground ball and spread from there. . Blues need contest game, this is where it went wrong last year. . Carlton intercept game falls to Cowan and Carroll in DEF CONT

And to this, removing Docherty from the function Thursday is the right call. Probably wouldn’t hurt to have kept him on for it but given the way those rooms can be, probably not a bad idea to starve it of oxygen. He’ll be back around the place in a few weeks.
As he should. Wasn’t meant to be public and nothing he said was incorrect or anything we don’t already know.
