At @GorillaPsyc we know that participants generally want to be helpful. But the researcher has a responsibility to the participant in exchange for high quality data. We're excited to chat about online experiments when thinking about UX design & our participants as the end user😃.

There are SO many benefits to online research in terms of:.- SPEED: save research time.- SCALE: higher sample sizes.- REACH: go beyond WEIRD samples . But researchers have legitimate concerns. How do you get good quality data? Are your participants following instructions?.

We'll be running a #SIPS2024 unconference session at 1:30pm in Almasi 1 on running online experiments when you can't be there to guide your participants through the experience. We share some lessons and ideas from the world of UX design to help run online studies with confidence!.

After 10 months of debilitating chronic fatigue, I'm so relieved to be back to living life and thoroughly enjoyed my first @emfcamp with @hacmanchester! I learned lockpicking, made a wand, saw so many cool things, was surrounded by nerds, and did loads of side quests (RIP Clippy)

I was always told you can only see white with the naked eye so I should keep my expectations low. Not true!! The pink was so clear! 😍.
