🚨 academic friends! I am submitting the manuscript for my monograph on theorising Oliver Jeffers' picturebooks to the publishers next week - any last minute tips, tricks, or advice? 📚 This is my first monograph so I'm equal parts nervous and excited, and also sleep deprived 🙈

Some exciting work news. I'm very honoured and excited to share that I've been awarded one of this year's Kvalifiseringsstipend from NTNU 🥹 🎉 This award funds my research for two years with the aim of qualifying for promotion to full professor in 2027 🤓.

I would like to take a moment to dedicate this chapter to the lead model featured in Mitchell's Wonderland series, Katie Hardwick, who sadly passed away recently. Though I never met Katie, I felt a connection to her through Wonderland & am thinking of those who love her dearly ❤️
