Ailbhe gave a really significant presentation on the overlap between poetry and documentary discourse, citing poetic responses to tribunals and enquiries. The event, run like clockwork by Una Johnston and Eleanor Hooker, was really interesting with a great audience.

Delighted to present a paper on poetry and politics at the Thomas MacDonagh Hedge School Yesterday, referring mostly to Seamus Heaney's Bog Poems. I was in a joint session with my friend and colleague Ailbhe McDaid (MIC English Department on tour!).
