For us physicians,it is a terrible development of the situation in Iran to hear from professionals arrested for treating demonstrators,of physicians arrested for not giving the names of their patients. Medical ethics are always to be respected - and even more so during a crisis!
The WMA is deeply concerned by growing reports of arrests of physicians, nurses, dentists & other health personnel in Iran for providing care to the injured. We have issued an urgent call to end violence against health workers. đź”—
