I learned this late in life: Being confident doesn’t come from being tough and persevering. It comes from feeling safe to explore failure. Knowing you have a physical home to come back to - that there is enough - and an emotional home - that you are enough.

I was just lying in bed with my 15yo at 3am (we're jetlagged) and I remembered how we had laid there like that every night while I read countless books to her as a child. I realized and I told her, those were the happiest moments of my life.

Sam Altman says Slack has many positives, but it creates endless fake work We need an AI-native productivity suite to replace docs, slides, email, and Slack Not add-on features, but trusted agents that handle work and only escalate when needed This finally feels within reach

It is largely symbolic (due to timing issuses) but still feel good that OND will amost certainly be our net PAT and net FCF quarter for the firt time. Been Net CF positive once before (uly '24) but that was out of infficient contsraints This one is real and by rational choices

Yes 🧻With the Government shutdown they have cut toilet paper, tampons, and paper towels. 🧻Everyone is now supposed to buy their own supplies on commissary. 🧻A roll of toilet paper is $2.25 🧻I make ~35¢/ hour. 🧻6 hours of work for a roll of TP.

Doing a startup sucks. It is 90% pain and 9% confusion about where to feel pain next. You have to either work with someone you really like working with, or on a problem you are really interested in. If neither, every rejection will feel existential.
