Being black or brown is not a determinant of health. The conditions put upon black and brown bodies is. Health is not something you afford, it is something afforded to you. Urban planning is healthcare.

There is no such thing as "the poor". There is the dispossessed, the exploited, and the dehumanized.

A typical European car is parked 92% of the time. It spends 1/5th of its driving time looking for parking. Its 5 seats only move 1.5 people. 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels, & most of the energy that does, moves the car, not people. Sound efficient? HT @circulareconomy

Carbon is NOT the problem it is a symptom of a structural problem. Addressing this reality has to be core of any renewal.
