This is why we always ask for Payslips. We Check everything, Arrears payment for a consultant who has been on the wrong increment ladder for 20+Years. Very hard to spot but after challenging the trust, a huge arrears payment. £85k Owed and now paid! result!

Especially if you have no statement. If NHSBSA can’t meet their obligation, they cannot deny you a scheme pays election on a voluntary basis.
🚨 Don’t panic about the 6 July Mandatory Scheme Pays deadline🗓️. It doesn’t mean you can’t use Scheme Pays. ✅ Voluntary Scheme Pays is still available after this date. I raised this before, and again with HMRC’s policy team yesterday, suggested aligning the deadline with.

Trusts should have some responsibility giving warning but I’m not sure many do, they will just accept application for salary sacrifice without hesitation. It does come down to the individual but we see so many retirements with recent lease which make that lease car not so cheap.
