A rare find: a fragment of a Roman milestone found along the #limes!. #romanarchaeology.
Bij #opgravingen bij #Hazerswoude-Rijndijk in de gemeente #Alphen aan den Rijn zijn stukken van een #Romeinse #mijlpaal gevonden. Op minstens een gedeelte (zie foto met de steen in het mandje) staat ook tekst. Het is voor zover bekend de eerst langs de #limes gevonden mijlpaal.
