Envisioning the online delivery of common municipal citizen services in the country under National Urban Digital Mission, a tripartite MoU was signed between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, the Government of Maharashtra, and NIUA.

We have to continuously remind ourselves that we have a lot to do in the coming year and that there is no time to rest. (6/7)

And it isnt a one way street. Experimental action, feedback leading to improved action, and so on is a forever ongoing process. For us it is important to realize that what we are doing now will have a significant impact on the future of our cities and our country. (5/7)

I have no doubt that as we go forward our leaders would aspire to make their cities like any one of the smart cities. City building is a never ending affair. (4/7)

Some of our leaders have often said that they would make their cities the next London or Shanghai. But now with Mission projects and initiatives woven around local needs, we have been able to create a template of our own, locally grown, locally nourished and locally owned. (3/7)

What we have collectively achieved and built together in these last 7 years is a holistic imagination of the Indian city of tomorrow. Our imagination of cities has always been borrowed. (2/7)

As I reflect on the Mission's 7 year journey, am filled with great pride, satisfaction, hope, and humility. Am sure all of us feel that we were never in the business of implementing just another government program. (1/7)
