One in six US families with children live in poverty. Our new study in @JAMAHealthForum shows how anti-poverty programs like the 2021 Child Tax Credit (CTC) can improve health and nutrition. Aš§µ1/7.
The 2021 Child Tax Credit monthly payments were associated with improved self-reported adult health & food security. Cash transfers for families may be effective tools in improving health and nutrition. . @JRookMD @LaurenWisk @AcademyHealth #ARM23
