This was the scene between Drumnadrochit & Abriachan on the A82 late this morning. Massive thanks to @NWTrunkRoads & to @northernPolice for keeping the road network flowing as best they could in such challenging conditions, allowing us to get road salt delivered to other places.

Today I entered a new decade. Got a few things ticked off the before-40 bucket list (lorry licences, bus licence). Still haven't been on a hot air balloon ride or visited New York though..... Anyway, this is the closest to birthday cake I was getting tonight as I'm all on my own!

I've managed a few different places this week. Sunday was the Loch Maree area, Wednesday was Dingwall (in the big bus!!) & today I was in Ullapool. On Saturday I'm getting the big bus again to take some footballers to a game on the Black Isle. It's not a bad office to have! 😀😀

Loving hearing that my teen's first week in new job as an apprentice mechanic at an Inverness garage has gone well. He's got so much enthusiasm & is keen to learn. Long may it continue. Very proud of him for working hard at college this past year & gaining this opportunity. 😀
