@longhandnotes @cobbaltt @bharathanrd @VineethRajan9 @_agnel When #தாண்டவராயமுதலியார் made the 1st printed edition of #திவாகரம் in 1839, he added a new #சூத்திரம் for #மோக்கம் in front of the original first sūtra which was (in the manuscripts) #தெய்வலோகத்தின்பெயர். This was an explicit addition, as signalled by the star "*" (#உடுக்குறி)

Have on HD thanks to a colleague, pictures, taken in UK, of some pages from #Burnell's "Specimens of South-Indian Dialects" book. Interesting difference seen in title of the parable in two distinct Tanjore Dialects. "விரைக்கிறவனைப் பத்திய உபமானம்" vs. "விதைக்கிறவனைப் பற்றிய உவமை"
