We in Wales need to do better at teaching our own history in our schools, the good and painful. That was supposed to be the point in decolonising @AmgueddfaCymru - to correct the erasure of our local & global ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ history. They prioritised their racism over sharing Welsh history
Today marks 112 years since the worst mining disaster in the history of the UK, the Senghenydd Colliery Disaster. 440 people died following the events of that morning. Today, we remember them.

Investigations have opened into a burglary at St. Fagans national museum of history in Cardiff. Police say bronze age jewellery was stolen from a display case there early on Monday morning. Museum Wales says it's saddened by the 'targeted attack'

I loved celebrating Independence Day yesterday with the diaspora ๐ฐ๐ณ We started with a church service at Westminster @wabbey before the part began. Nothing but amazing food, company and Soca music ๐ฐ๐ณโค๏ธ It was so nice seeing everyone after so long, I love our SKN family ๐ฐ๐ณ
